The Rotary Club of Warren met Tuesday, June 9 inside First Methodist Church for its first meeting of the month. Rotarian Bob Milton introduced his program of Clint Horn, president and founder of Timber Logistics. Horn gave a history of timber industry in South Arkansas.
That served a segue into how he got involved in the timber industry and how many changes he’s seen over the years. A native of Pennsylvania, Horn is a registered forester had experience working at Potlatch and the Bradley Lumber Company before founding Timber Logistics. He spoke about the current struggles with high fuel prices and staffing and what he thinks the future may hold for the industry. He answered a few questions to conclude the presentation.
