RISON, Ark. — The Rison Shine organization and Pioneer Village are preparing for another season of Food Truck Friday and the Farmers Market, with the popular community event returning Friday, June 5, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pioneer Village, located at 200 Yaney Drive in Rison.
Held every other Friday throughout the season, the event brings together local food vendors, farmers, artisans, and community members for an evening of food, shopping, and entertainment. Admission is free.
Organizers say the event serves as a gathering place for residents while supporting local businesses and vendors. Visitors can expect a variety of food trucks, dessert vendors, live music, and a farmers market featuring locally produced goods.
Scheduled food vendors for the June 5 event include Rich’s Cosmic Eats, G&T BBQ, and Q’s Cool Cups. Local musician Dixie Britton will provide live entertainment during the evening.
The farmers market is open to vendors selling fresh produce, cottage foods such as homemade baked goods, and hand-crafted items. Booth space is available free of charge, although vendors are asked to provide their own canopies, tables, and chairs.
Organizers are also seeking additional food truck vendors to participate throughout the season. Anyone interested in operating a food truck or offering suggestions for future vendors may contact Douglas Boultinghouse at (870) 325-6412.
Food Truck Friday and the Farmers Market will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 5, at Pioneer Village in Rison. Organizers encourage residents to come hungry, shop local, and enjoy an evening with the community.
