HAMPTON, Ark. – The Calhoun County Fair & Livestock Show has announced the launch of a new Beautification Project aimed at improving the Calhoun County Fairgrounds and enhancing the experience for visitors, families, exhibitors, and community members who attend events throughout the year.
As part of the project, improvements will focus on restoring and enhancing the exterior of the Fair Barn and Exhibit Building. The two facilities serve as central gathering places for many community events, including the Calhoun County Fair, livestock shows, festivals, youth activities, and other local gatherings.
Organizers said maintaining and improving the facilities is important to ensuring the fairgrounds remain a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable place for future generations.
The project recently received a major boost from Generations Bank, which contributed $12,000 toward the effort. The Calhoun County Fair & Livestock Show said the donation will play a significant role in helping complete the needed improvements.
“We extend our sincere appreciation to Generations Bank for their commitment to Calhoun County and for helping make this project possible,” the organization stated in its announcement. “Their continued support of local organizations and events helps strengthen our community and improve the quality of life for everyone who calls Calhoun County home.”
The Calhoun County Fair & Livestock Show also thanked Generations Bank for partnering with the organization as work continues to preserve and improve the fairgrounds for years to come.
