Priscilla Harding Leonard, 1960-2026

Priscilla Harding Leonard, 65, of Tucson, AZ., passed away June 5, 2026. Born November 27, 1960, to Joe and Easter Mae Harding. She was a woman of faith, strength, humor, honesty and kindness.

In 1981, Priscilla’s family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, due to an Air Force assignment. She later made her home in Tucson, AZ., where she built a life centered on family, faith friendship and community.

Tucson became the place where she raised her son, Chermaine, with love, strength, and dedication.

For 30 years, Priscilla faithfully worked at Fry’s Grocery Store, where she built lasting friendships with coworkers and customers. Many looked forward to seeing her, and she will be remembered for her warmth, humor, honesty, and the way she made others feel valued.

One of Priscilla’s greatest joys was being “Mimi” to her beloved granddaughter, Elle, whom she lovingly called “Elle Poo.” She was proud of Elle, spoke of her often, and found great joy in spoiling her, celebrating her and watching her grow.

Priscilla was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord and treasured His Word. She was a devoted member of Southside Church of Christ in Tucson for more than 30 years before later attending Northside

Church of Christ. She worshiped faithfully, prayed for others, encouraged people through Scripture, and deeply valued her church family.

She is survived by her loving parents, Joe and Easter Mae Harding; her son, Chermaine Leonard (Lanelle); granddaughter, Elle Leonard; siblings, Billy Joe Harding, Stacy Harding (Norma), Debra Ann Harding, Kelvin Harding (Dionne), Christopher Harding; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was held June 20, at West Central Church of Christ, Warren, AR. with Bro. Jamie Rochell officiating and Evangelist Michael Alexander eulogist. Burial was in Harding Cemetery in Warren, AR. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
