Tracey Dwight Sutherland, 1965-2026

Tracey Dwight Sutherland, 60, of Hermitage, Arkansas, passed away June 22, 2026, at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren.

Born Aug. 16, 1965, in Houston, Texas, Tracey was the son of the late Teddy Sutherland and the late Norma Williams Sutherland. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Harvey Kevin Sutherland of Warren.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Tracey dedicated much of his life to his family and his work. He retired from Potlatch after more than 40 years of faithful service, earning the respect and friendship of many throughout his career.

On Nov. 18, 1983, he married the love of his life, Terri King Sutherland. Together, they shared more than 42 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, faith and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Terri King Sutherland of Hermitage; his daughters, Krista Sutherland Ledbetter and husband Christopher Ledbetter of Hermitage, and Jessica Sutherland Dawson and husband Dakota Dawson of Hermitage.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to Avery Ledbetter, Emersyn Ledbetter, Grady Ledbetter and Charlotte Dawson, who brought immeasurable joy and pride to his life.

He is also survived by his aunt, Ruby Williams of Warren; his brother, Jeffery Sutherland and wife Hether of Hampton; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Tracey was happiest when spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed relaxing in his swimming pool, sharing laughter with those he loved and continually adding to the collections he treasured.

Those who knew Tracey will remember his strong work ethic, his love for his family and his ability to make others laugh. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though his earthly journey has ended, the love he shared and the legacy he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
