Palestine A.M.E. Church will welcome former members, families, friends and community residents for its 2026 Homecoming celebration beginning Friday, July 31, and continuing through Sunday, Aug. 2.
The weekend, centered on faith, family and fellowship, will begin with a meet-and-greet at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Palestine A.M.E. Church.
Activities scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, will begin with a memorial ride departing the church at 9 a.m. and traveling to the Hermitage Community Center. A community picnic will follow from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the center.
Saturday evening will feature a performance by the Racy Brothers and The Golden Star at 6:30 p.m.
The homecoming weekend will conclude with Sunday worship services at 11 a.m. Aug. 2 at Palestine A.M.E. Church.
The church is located at 460 Bradley Road 56 in Hermitage. Everyone is invited to attend and take part in the celebration.
