To the people of Warren,
Warren is a town built on hard work, strong families, and the same determined spirit that has long defined our Lumberjack tradition. It is that spirit, and my continued belief in the future of our city, that has led me to decide to seek another term as Mayor of Warren.
The election will be held in November 2026.
It has been an honor to serve the people of Warren, and I remain committed to continuing the work of improving our city while being responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars.
One of my top priorities as Mayor has been responsible stewardship of the city’s finances. During a time when inflation and rising costs have created serious challenges for many cities across the country, I, along with the Warren City Council, have worked diligently to keep Warren’s finances stable while continuing to provide the services our residents depend on. Careful budgeting and responsible financial management have allowed our city to navigate these challenges while maintaining stability for the people of Warren.
Part of that approach has included making smart investments that will benefit the city for years to come. One example is the introduction of clean, affordable solar power to help operate city government buildings. This investment will help save the taxpayers of Warren money over the coming years and decades while making our city government more efficient.
We have also placed a strong focus on keeping Warren clean and well maintained. This includes improvements in street and drainage maintenance and the addition of a city street-sweeping truck that now operates regularly throughout the city. We have also increased efforts to address neglected lots and problem properties that have affected neighborhoods for years. While progress has been made, cleaning up long-standing issues across an entire community does not happen overnight. This work will continue, and it will remain a priority as we strive to make Warren a cleaner and better-maintained city for everyone.
Economic development remains a top priority. We are currently working with several potential industrial prospects interested in locating in Warren and bringing new jobs to our community. At the same time, we continue working closely with the industries and businesses that already call Warren home as they look for opportunities to grow and expand.
Our city is also working closely with the Southeast Arkansas Intermodal Authority regarding the soon-to-be constructed Weyerhaeuser facility. While the plant will be located in Drew County, it will have a significant economic impact on Warren and the surrounding region, including job opportunities that will be available to people in our community.
In addition, improvements and continued upkeep at the Warren Baseball and Softball Complex have helped provide quality facilities for the many young people and families who use them each year.
While progress has been made in many areas, there is still important work ahead. I look forward to discussing the needs and opportunities facing our city in the months to come.
Serving as your Mayor has been a privilege, and I would be honored to continue working for the people of Warren.
