Guy W. Johnson, age 90, went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2026. He was born September 8, 1935 at Lake Village, AR. He is the son of the late Harvey Johnson and Mary Jane Mann Johnson. He was a 1954 graduate of Hermitage High School. He was a member and deacon of Westside Baptist Church, Warren. He served in Arkansas National Guard and Reserve for seven years. He followed construction work in Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma for a number of years, and retired from Ensco in El Dorado. He also grew Christmas trees for 25 years. After retirement, when his health was better, he enjoyed working in his garden and keeping his yard mowed.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Anders Johnson, whom he married July 22, 1955. Also surviving are one son Kim. W. Johnson (Sheila) of Camden and one daughter, Felicia Greenwood (Chad) of Warren. Two granddaughters, Dr. Amanda Roberts (Matt) of Benton and Heather Johnson (Nick) of Camden. Three great-granddaughters, Kinsey Merrick, Little Rock and Hailey Roberts and Mattison Roberts of Benton. Four great grandsons, Gabe Johnson, Garrett Johnson (Makailee), Caleb Johnson and Jay Johnson all of Camden. One great, great granddaughter, Hallie Kate Johnson, Camden.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Everett Ray Johnson and a sister, Jewell Dean Thompson. Also, two nephews Larry Thompson and Mike Thompson.
Funeral services will be at Westside Baptist Church, Warren on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 2 pm.
Visitation at 1 pm prior to service. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Warren, AR.

Pallbearers: Monty Johnson, Nick Johnson, Gabe Johnson, Garrett Johnson, Caleb Johnson and Matt Roberts.
