Mallory Kay Barnes age 25, born on June 11, 2001, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Saturday, August 1 , 2026, after a life that, though was far too short, she filled her life with compassion, kindness and love.
Mallory was the beloved daughter of Scott Barnes and Angela Cornish Barnes. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was baptized at Saline Baptist Church in Hermitage, AR. She was a member of the Grace Cowboy Church in Warren, AR. Her faith continued to grow as she grew as a Christian. Her faith and salvation remain a source of peace and comfort to all who knew and loved her.
Mallory had a God given love for animals. She never met an animal she didn’t want to help and spent her life rescuing and caring for countless animals in need. Her dogs held a special place in her heart and were loved as her family.
She took great pride in serving as the office manager of Warren Animal Clinic, where her compassion, dedication, and genuine love for animals touched the lives of coworkers, clients and their beloved pets. She was admired for her strong work ethic, kind spirit and willingness to help others.
Mallory will be remembered for her beautiful smile, gentle heart, infectious laugh, and the unconditional love she shared so freely with both people and animals.
Though her time on earth was far too brief, the kindness she showed and the difference she made will never be forgotten.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving parents, Scott Barnes and Angela Cornish Barnes. Her grandmother Frances Cornish, her uncles, Eddie (Norman) Cornish and spouse Deena, Bryan Cornish and spouse Kathy, and Steve Barnes and spouse Leslie. Along with many cousins and extended family, all whose lives she touched.
Mallory was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Nick Cornish, Johnny Barnes, her uncle Richard Cornish, and her grandmother Arla Kaintz.
Although her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the promise of Mallory’s eternal life through Jesus Christ. The family finds comfort in knowing that Mallory is at peace in the presence of her Savior. Her legacy of faith, compassion, kindness and love for God’s creation will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in me, thou he were dead, yet he shall live. Funeral services were 10:00AM Saturday, August 8th at Grace Cowboy Church with Bro. Chris Barnes and Bro. Tim Saunders officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Steve Barnes, Norman Cornish, Bryan Cornish, Riley Cornish, Reiss Cornish and Wesley Cornish.
