Phyllis Reynolds Roberts, 1942-2026

Phyllis Reynolds Roberts of Rockwall, TX, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, with her family at her side.

Phyllis was born September 29, 1942, in Hampton, Arkansas, to Pat and Claudine Reynolds. She grew up in Hampton and Warren, where she married the love of her life, Bryan Roberts, on December 29, 1961. She was a devoted homemaker to her family.

Bryan’s career took them to several places over the years: Alabama, Louisiana, West Virgina, Kentucky, and North Carolina. After Bryan passed away in 1996, Phyllis relocated to Rockwall, TX.

She was Nana to her grandsons, Brian Kyle Kaplan and Lanson Bryan Bennett, of whom she was most proud. Both are the namesakes of her beloved Bryan.

Phyllis was a talented pianist. She greatly enjoyed playing bridge and became a very competitive player over the years. Along the way, she made many friends in the Rockwall and Rowlett area. She was an avid reader and loved to watch her soap operas and cooking shows.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Claudine Reynolds, and her husband, Bryan Roberts.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Patti Bennett and her husband, Johnny, and Angela Bowen and her husband, Charles; grandsons Brian Kaplan and Lanson Bennett; her brother, Phillip Reynolds; her sister, Paige Reynolds Grider and her husband, Johnny; and several nieces and nephews.

Though our hearts are heavy with her absence, we rejoice in knowing that Phyllis is reunited with her beloved Bryan and other family who have gone before her. We find comfort in God’s promise of eternal life and can only imagine the joyful reunion as they walk together in the kingdom of Heaven.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 21, 2026, at Frazer’s Funeral Home Chapel with Dyral Hargrove, II officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
