The Warren Branch Library helped put books into the hands of hundreds of local children during the 2026 Bradley County Fair, distributing more than 700 books to young fairgoers.
The library set up a booth at the fair where children could select books and receive candy while visiting with library staff and volunteers.
In a social media post following the event, the Warren Branch Library thanked the Friends of the Warren Library for helping make the giveaway possible, along with Cathy Richardson and Leah for assisting with the booth setup.
The library also recognized Ms. Bobbey Bryant and Madeline Pasha for working at the booth despite the hot weather and helping distribute books and candy to children throughout the event.
The book giveaway was part of the library’s participation in this year’s Bradley County Fair and continued its efforts to encourage reading and make books readily available to children in the community.
