Re-New-ing Edinburg is preparing for its community Halloween Trick-or-Treat event, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Plans for the celebration were discussed during the organization’s October 20 meeting at the New Edinburg Community Center.
Members approved plans to begin setting up for the event on Wednesday, October 28.
During the meeting, Treasurer Roger McClellan announced that FBT Bank had donated $500 to the organization in support of its Halloween activities and Santa’s upcoming visit in December.
Vice President David Kemp presided over the meeting in the absence of President Trenna Kemp.
