WARREN, Ark. — The Warren Woman’s Club celebrated America’s 250th birthday Monday afternoon, November 2, with the dedication of a new flagpole at the Warren City Park.
The flagpole, donated by the Warren Woman’s Club and installed by the City of Warren, is located near the gazebo along Martin Street. Approximately 20 people attended the dedication ceremony.
Warren Woman’s Club President Jan McLemore addressed those gathered for the occasion, as did Warren Mayor Gregg Reep.
Members of the Warren High School Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) participated in the ceremony by installing a new United States flag and an America 250 flag on the flagpole.
A commemorative plaque was also unveiled, recognizing the club’s contribution to the city and the nation’s historic anniversary.
The plaque reads:
“Presented to The City of Warren On The Occasion Of America’s 250th Birthday By Warren Woman’s Club 2026.”
The new flagpole and plaque will serve as a lasting tribute to the 250th anniversary of American independence and the Warren Woman’s Club’s contribution to the community.
