A relatively even second quarter saw the Lady Jacks go into the halftime break down 21-7. Warren found some success at the free-throw line, but still struggled from the field.

Although four Lady Jacks got on the board in the third, a scoreless fourth quarter helped Monticello close up shop. They would go on to defeat Warren by the final of 50-13.

Tessa Andrus led Warren with five points and five rebounds.

Amari Russell and Raven Harris each had two points a piece, while Paris Wright, Michaela Stanley, Cherish Dooley, and Aaliyah Walton all knocked down a free-throw.

Aniyah York followed Andrus in rebounds with four.

The Lady Jacks start the Conference campaign 0-1. They now have an overall record of 1-8 on the year. They are back in 8-4A Conference action again Friday, January 6 on the road at Stuttgart. That game is scheduled to tip off at 5:30 p.m.
