A new fire station is set to be constructed in the Bradley County community of Banks after the final contracts were signed Friday according to Mayor Keeton Hudson’s office.
The new fire station will be a 40′ x 60′ building with four bays located on the site of the old Banks gymnasium. According to the announcement, the fire station will be the first City of Banks infrastructure built in the last 45 years.
