WARREN, Ark. – Four Lady Jacks were on the scoresheet Friday night in a 62-20 loss to the Hamburg Lady Lions at Lumberjack Arena in Warren.
On senior night, Warren senior’s Tessa Andrus and Raven Harris each sank the first two baskets of the ballgame for the orange and black. Another Warren senior Paris Wright made a superb block in the first. The Lady Jacks were able to muster several good looks but the the shots just wouldn’t fall. They fell behind 24-4 after the opening period.

A bright second half was led by Andrus. She showed quite a bit of initiative attacking the paint. While she was unable to get a shot to fall from the field, she did manage to go three of four from the free throw line in the second. Aniyah York hit a three as well to drive Warren forward to an 8 point second quarter. They trailed 31-12 at the halftime break.
Michaela Stanley had a really positive second half. Another Lady Jack senior, she knocked down a couple of tough shots in the third and fourth quarters.
Warren went on to lose by the final of 62-20 Hamburg.
York led the Lady Jacks with seven points and a rebound. Andrus totaled five points and two rebounds. Stanley and Harris each posted four. Harris led Warren on the boards with five rebounds. Stanley had one on the night.
The Lady Jacks move to 1-18 overall and 0-11 in the 8-4A. They have two games remaining on the schedule. Next up is a February 14 game in Warren against Watson Chapel. That game will tip off at 5:30 p.m.
