Jimmy Wayne Reep, Sr.

Jimmy Wayne Reep, Sr., age 81, of Warren, AR, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 4th, at his home.

Jimmy was a member and deacon of Immanuel Baptist Church in Warren. He was a retired employee of Southwestern Bell. His passions in life were his grandchildren and hunting with his boys.

Jimmy was the son of the late C.M. “Shorty†Reep and the late Edna Ashcraft Reep. He was preceded in death by his brother, Derwood Reep. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Fran Adams Reep; two sons, Jimmy Wayne Reep, Jr., and wife Dana, and Heath Adam Reep and wife Kasey, all of Warren. Jimmy is also survived by eight grandchildren: Cody Reep, Erin Reep, Cade Reep, Jett Reep, Presley Reep, Mathew George, Austin George, and Megan George and one great-grandson, John Austin Reep. He is also survived by a sister, Almareda Byrd (Morris) of Pansy.

A funeral was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 7th, at Frazer’s, with burial immediately following at Union Cemetery in Rye. Brothers Brandon Massey and Rodney Grice officiated. Music was provided by Jeff, Megan, and Neely Taylor.
Pallbearers were Cody Reep, Cade Reep, Jett Reep, Mathew George, Austin George, John Austin Reep, and Presley Reep.
Honorary pallbearers were Erin Reep, Megan George, Mark Harris, Keanon Harris, Rick Reep, Gary Thornton, Mike Lathan, Freddie Mobley, Bill Jones, Kay Reep, and all of his friends at the coffee shop.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church W Pine St. Warren, AR 71671 or the YMCA; 207 N Main St. Warren, AR 71671.
