PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The Warren Lady Jacks faced a challenging start to their 8-4A Conference schedule on the road Tuesday night, falling to conference title contender Watson Chapel 44-27.

The Wildcats applied early full-court pressure, forcing turnovers and setting a competitive tone. However, the Lady Jacks settled in, keeping the first quarter close. Allyssa Calbert led the way with five points in the period, helping Warren stay within reach at 10-9.
A scoreless second quarter for the Lady Jacks allowed Watson Chapel to extend their lead to 21-9 by halftime. Despite the setback, Warren came out of the locker room energized in the third quarter, led by Bayleigh Miller’s explosive 13-point effort. The Lady Jacks narrowed the gap but couldn’t sustain the momentum in the fourth, ultimately falling to the Wildcats.
Miller finished with a team-high 16 points, along with four rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. Calbert added five points and two rebounds, while Livi McKinney contributed three points, seven rebounds, and a steal.
