Two Dead, Two Injured in Head-On Collision in Bradley County

WARREN, Ark. – A head-on collision occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Arkansas State Highway 8, resulting in two fatalities and two injuries.

According to the Arkansas State Police, a 1982 Toyota T100 traveling west collided head-on with a 2023 GMC Sierra traveling east. The crash occurred when both vehicles veered left of the centerline, meeting in the middle of the roadway.

The deceased were identified as Jerry Cotham, 58, of Fountain Hill, and Jeffrey Pinson, 60, of Longview. Both were occupants of the Toyota T100. Their bodies were transported to Frazer’s Funeral Home.

The injured include Emily Rayford, 23, of Oak Grove, Louisiana, who was a passenger in the GMC Sierra, and William Meeks, 22, of Crossett, who was driving the GMC Sierra. Both were taken to Ashley County Medical Center for treatment.

The weather conditions at the time of the crash were clear, and the road was dry. The investigation is ongoing.
