The Rotary Club of Warren met for the first of two meetings this month on Tuesday, April 8 at First Methodist Church. The club heard from Warren High School Junior Rotarians Olivia Cook and Kylee Ozment before moving to the program for the afternoon.

Rotarian Marnette George introduced Jamie Courtney of Kids First in Warren. Courtney spoke about their services for kids with special needs from birth to five years old. They get early intervention at Kids First, including occupational, physical, and speech therapy. She said they have 37 kids currently, which is almost as many as they can take, but are losing five this year due to aging out. She also mentioned that they serve kids in Warren and Bradley County but also get a number of children from Cleveland County and the El Dorado area. She stated that Warren is fortunate to have this service in town and ended the program by answering a few questions from the crowd.
