BCMC’s Employee of the Month for April is Mindy Wolfe of the BCMC Rural Health Clinic!
Mindy’s nomination stated: “I am honored to nominate Mindy Wolfe for Employee of the Month. Originally hired as an OB/GYN, family practice clinic nurse, Mindy demonstrated resilience and flexibility when those physicians left the clinic. Rather than stepping back, she stepped up–transitioning seamlessly into the role of psychiatric clinic nurse for the clinic’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Mindy has proven to be an exceptional asset. She is compassionate, caring, and consistently professional. Her charting is always thorough and timely, and she approaches every task with attention to detail and a calm, confident presence. She has sought out information regarding psychiatric diagnoses and endeavored to learn as much as she can regarding symptoms and different screening tools that are available in our EMR to make sure we have the most accurate information possible. She also handles prior authorizations and referrals with impressive speed and accuracy. In addition to her daily responsibilities, she follows up with all patients from the BCMC ER to ensure they are appropriately connected with their primary care physicians for continuity of care. She is always ready to step up and help in other areas of the clinic as well whenever she sees a need. Mindy’s reliability, adaptability, and patient–centered care make her an invaluable part of our team. I am grateful for her dedication and strongly believe she deserves recognition for her outstanding contributions.”
