Crossett struck first with four hits in the opening frame but managed just one run after a series of base running miscues. Warren quickly answered in the bottom half of the inning, erupting for eight runs. Haven Johnson got things started with a bunt single and later scored on a triple by Ember Johnson. Capitalizing on Crossett’s errors, the Lady Jacks kept the pressure on. Raeleigh Milton contributed an RBI single, Presley Reep knocked in two runs with a single, and Breize Fellows followed with another RBI hit. Johnson came back around in the inning to deliver two more runs with a base hit, giving Warren an 8-1 lead after one.

The Lady Eagles threatened in the second with a pair of runners but came up empty. Warren was unable to capitalize on a scoring chance in their half of the second despite getting runners on.

Crossett chipped away in the third with a solo home run and added two more runners, but the Warren defense held firm. In the bottom of the frame, Haven Johnson again sparked the offense, and Ember Johnson delivered an RBI double. Natalie Hargrave added an RBI single to extend Warren’s lead to 10-3.

The Lady Eagles added one more in the fourth on a sacrifice fly after loading the bases with one out, but Warren tacked on another run after Reep reached on a walk and later scored on a Crossett miscue. After four innings, the Lady Jacks held an 11-4 advantage.

Warren’s defense stayed locked in, allowing just a two-out walk in the top of the fifth. The Lady Jacks sealed the win in the bottom of the inning. Charlee Wardlaw singled, and Bayleigh Miller doubled to set the stage. Wardlaw scored on a passed ball, Hargrave singled in Miller, and after Milton and Reep reached, Fellows knocked in Hargrave to push the lead to 10 and end the game.

Ember Johnson led the Lady Jacks at the plate, going 3-for-4. Haven Johnson, Natalie Hargrave, Raeleigh Milton, and Breize Fellows each recorded two hits in four at-bats. Presley Reep was a perfect 1-for-1, while Wardlaw and Miller each went 1-for-3.

Defensive highlights came from Blythe Calloway, Haven Johnson, Natalie Hargrave, and Livi McKinney, helping secure the win and keep Crossett in check.

The Lady Jacks will be back in action Thursday as they travel to Monticello for another conference matchup.
