WARREN, Ark. – The Warren School District has kicked off its annual Free Summer Meals Program, offering breakfast and lunch at no cost to children 18 years old and younger. The program officially began today, June 9, and will continue through June 19, 2025.
Meals are served Monday through Thursday at Warren Middle School. Breakfast is available at 8:30 a.m. and lunch is served at 11:00 a.m. No income requirements or registration are necessary—any child under 19 is welcome to attend and receive a free meal.
“With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out,” the district shared. “Warren School District provides free meals to children during the summer.”
The program is part of a nationwide initiative by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which partners with local organizations to ensure that children continue to receive nutritious meals even when school is not in session.
