Her nomination said: “I’d like to nominate Deena Cornish for Employee of the Month. She works incredibly hard to make sure our Home Health agency not only meets regulatory and documentation standards but also meets and exceeds financial goals. Last year, during our EMR transition, Deena took on a huge amount of work. She handled much of the clinical IT build herself and went above and beyond helping nursing, PT, OT, and ST staff get comfortable with the new system. It was a huge challenge to take on building it out and she embraced it.

She’s always focused on making sure patients and their families are satisfied with our services and doesn’t shy away from addressing any issue that comes up. Recently, when we were tossing around ideas for new marketing campaigns, Deena took the initiative and ran with it. Her energy and follow through really stood out.

She also stays on top of disaster preparedness drills, policy updates, and any changes in home health regulations. Deena is a huge asset to BCMC, and we’re all grateful for the work she puts in every single day.”

Congratulations to Deena on this well-earned achievement!
