WARREN, Ark. – Two standout members of Warren High School’s athletic program have earned top honors from the Arkansas High School Coaches Association (AHSCA) for 2025, highlighting both longstanding leadership and emerging coaching talent.
Warren Athletic Director and longtime Head Football Coach Bo Hembree was named this year’s Lowell Manning Award recipient. The award recognizes coaches who have made significant contributions to Arkansas high school football, and Hembree’s impact on the Lumberjack program is unmistakable. Under his guidance, Warren has become a perennial contender in the state playoffs, capturing multiple championships and developing a culture of consistency and competitiveness.
Joining Hembree in the spotlight is Darveon Brown, who was selected as the AHSCA’s Outstanding Girls Coach for 2025. Brown currently leads Warren’s girls track and field team and has quickly earned respect for his energy, dedication, and ability to connect with student-athletes. A former Arkansas State University football player, Brown is in the early stages of what is shaping up to be a promising coaching career.
The recognitions were announced this week by the Arkansas Activities Association and celebrate both veteran excellence and rising leadership in Arkansas high school sports.
