Coming off last week’s 66–34 victory over Crossett, Warren entered the postseason at 7–3 and as the No. 3 seed from the 8-4A. The Jacks wasted zero time proving their playoff readiness.
First Quarter: Warren Strikes Early and Often
Warren won the coin toss, elected to receive, and immediately took advantage of Gentry’s attempted onside kick. After recovering the ball, Denton delivered the opening blow at 10:59 — a 15-yard touchdown pass to Fellows. Jacarlos Marquez added the PAT for a 7–0 lead.
Gentry responded with a promising march to the Warren 9-yard line, but Louis Woods ended the drive with a crucial sack, swinging possession back to the Lumberjacks.
Warren capitalized again. At 6:48, Denton hit Fellows for a 34-yard touchdown on an out route that the senior wideout converted into a full-field cutback score. Marquez’s kick extended the margin to 14–0.
The Jacks closed the quarter with a physical finish. Josiah Steen powered into the end zone from two yards out at 2:05, making it 21–0 after another Marquez extra point.
Second Quarter: A Lethal Aerial Onslaught Continues
The passing attack only intensified.
At 11:22, Denton lofted a roughly 27-yard touchdown pass to Tayshawn Edwards, stretching the lead to 28–0.
Moments later, Fellows delivered another haymaker. With 7:49 remaining in the quarter, he sprinted down the right sideline and hauled in an 83-yard bomb from Denton — the most explosive play of the night — to make it 35–0.
Gentry broke through with a 10-yard touchdown pass at 5:53, cutting the deficit to 35–7.
But Warren struck back immediately. Denton found Fellows yet again with 4:36 left, this time for a six-yard score — the receiver’s fourth touchdown of the half and the exclamation point on a devastating, lethal offensive stretch.

The half closed with Colton Steen intercepting a Pioneer pass with 37 seconds remaining.
Third Quarter: Sportsmanship Rule, Second Unit Takes Over
With the sportsmanship rule in effect, Warren played its second unit throughout the second half. Gentry narrowed the gap with a 19-yard touchdown pass at the 2:06 mark, making it 42–14.
Fourth Quarter: Reserves Finish the Job
Warren’s second-team offense was caught deep in Jack territory late, surrendering a safety with 2:00 remaining. That pushed the lead to 42–16. Gentry added a late touchdown with 13 seconds left to bring the final score to 42–23.
Final: Warren Moves to 8–3 and Advances to Gosnell
The win lifts Warren to 8–3 overall and sends the Lumberjacks to the second round of the 2025 4A State Playoffs. Next Friday, November 21, Warren will travel to face top-seeded Gosnell with momentum — and a passing attack that proved one of the most lethal in the state on Thursday night.
