WARREN, Ark. (11/26/25) – Bradley County Medical Center is pleased to announce a free Diabetes Education Class centered around making smart choices during the holidays. The class will be held on Monday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. inside the hospital’s conference room.

This class is free and is designed to support individuals living with diabetes, people caring for ones with diabetes, and anyone seeking to better understand how to manage the disease. CURA Hospitality’s Melissa Marriott, who is both a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian, will lead the class and teach about eating smart during the holidays. There will be light refreshments served.

“Diabetes affects millions of Americans with rates in Arkansas and Bradley County exceeding the national averages,” said Dennen Cuthbertson, Public Relations Specialist at BCMC. “Education is one of the most important tools we can offer to empower patients. Our goal is to provide accessible, reliable information that helps individuals take charge of their health.”

If you have any questions about the class, please contact Christie at 870-226-4344 or email Melissa Marriott at melissa.marriott@curahospitality.com.
