Porter A. Russell, 75, of Warren, Arkansas, passed away, peacefully, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his home.

Porter was born on September 06, 1950, to the late Noar T. “Buster” Russell and Ruthie Edgin Russell, in Warren, Arkansas.

Other than his parents, Porter is preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Russell.

Porter is survived by his spouse, Linda Russell, whom he married June 6, 1992, sons Roger Adam Russell and spouse James of Alexander, AR, and Scotty Ray Adair of Rison, AR, daughters Karen Adair, Jennifer Clark and spouse Archie, all of Warren, AR, 5 grandchildren, Reagan, Lakin, Jaxon, Aiden, and Jacey, 3 great grandchildren, Ozzy, Kailer, Bailey, sisters, Mary Bradley and Elsie Swain, and brother Phillip Russell all of Warren, AR, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Porter spent most of his life working in the log woods and in 2013, he was employed by Nichols Propeller, and his lifelong friend, Joe Don Nichols. Porter was a Christian and a man of faith. He was a hard worker and never stopped. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, working on the cattle farm, and traveling with family. Porter’s passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him.

Memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting you make a donation to Gentiva Hospice in El Dorado, AR or to your favorite charity, in honor of Porter.
