LaTresa A. Jackson-Tatum, 52, of Little Rock, died January 11, 2026. Born March 19, 1973, to Alonzo Jr. and Alma Jackson.
LaTresa was a faithful member of the Kennedy Blvd. Church of Christ, where she faithfully worshipped for many years. She later transferred her membership to the West Central Church of Christ
to worship alongside her sister, Latanya. For health-related reasons, LaTresa relocated to Little Rock to be near her parents and continued her Christian journey with the McAlmont Church of Christ.
She was a proud graduate of Dermott High School, class of 1991. Following high school, LaTresa continued her education at Southwestern Christian College and later attended Great Rivers
Vo-Technical College. She valued growth and learning and carried that determination into all that she pursued. She was an entrepreneur at heart and enjoyed creating opportunities for herself and
others. In her later years, she worked with Primerica Insurance and founded her business, Tres Jewels and Gems, reflecting her creativity, independence and drive.
LaTresa is survived by her parents, Alonzo Jr. and Alma Jackson; her children, Monesha Dobbs (Conellious), Vaqesha Sims, Travis Tatum Jr.; siblings, LaTanya Wilfong (William), Michael Jackson,
Lavar Thompson, LaRonica Thomas, LaTrenia Jackson, Erica Dunn (Phillip), Tara James; grandchildren, Au’Briyunna, Kameren, Dominick, Dakadin Wilkerson, Kyriell Wilkerson, Si’Maryn Wilkerson,
Keunta Wilkerson; uncles, James Danzy (Shirley), Albert Jackson, Otis Mays, Charles Cade; aunts, Linda Paige (John), Estrella Jackson, Rosia Griffin; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held January 31 at West Central Church of Christ in Warren, with Bro. Jamie Rochell officiating. Burial in Kennedy Blvd. Church of Christ Cemetery, Monticello. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
