HERMITAGE, Ark. — Students from the Hermitage School District recently competed in the Bradley County Spelling Bee held February 13.
Addison Helms placed first in the first-grade division, while Avery Ledbetter finished second in the second-grade division.
Helms later participated in the state Spelling Bee last Saturday. She advanced to the fourth round of the competition and ultimately finished in 18th place out of 58 participants.
