HERMITAGE, Ark. — Travis and Katie Ferguson of Honey Hill Farms, LLC, in Hermitage have been named the 2026 Bradley County Farm Family of the Year, an honor recognizing their contributions to agriculture and their commitment to family farming.
The Ferguson family was recently recognized during Farm Family of the Year Media Day as they welcomed judges for the Southeast District Farm Family of the Year competition.
Established in 2023, Honey Hill Farms raises laying hens and operates as a family-run farm with the couple’s children actively involved in daily activities and responsibilities.
According to the Bradley County Extension Office, the family represents a strong agricultural heritage. Katie Ferguson is a fifth-generation farmer and a second-generation poultry farmer, while Travis Ferguson is a third-generation poultry farmer.
The Arkansas Farm Family of the Year program honors outstanding farm families for their agricultural achievements, stewardship and service to their communities. As the Bradley County winner, the Ferguson family is now competing at the district level.
The Bradley County Extension Office thanked the Ferguson family for their dedication to agriculture in Bradley County and wished them success as district judging continues.
