BANKS, Ark. — The youth department of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Banks will host a community car wash fundraiser on Saturday, June 20, to help raise money for an upcoming youth trip.
The fundraiser will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until organizers conclude for the day. The event will take place in downtown Banks at the former Jeff Strong Old Grocery Store location.
Organizers are asking for a $10 donation per vehicle washed, although additional donations will also be accepted. Snacks will be available for purchase during the event.
According to information released by the church, all proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly toward funding a youth trip to Branson, Missouri.
Community members wishing to support the effort are encouraged to stop by for a car wash, purchase snacks, or make a donation.
