Joyce Ann Hampton, 69, of Warren, passed away August 4, 2026. Born January 31, 1957, to Curtis and Ola Mae Duncan. She attended Warren School District where she graduated with the class of 1975. She attended Union Hill Baptist Church from childhood. She worked at Pine Lodge Nursing Home and later worked at Potlatch and BCMC until her health failed.
She married Elgin Hampton and to this union Elgin Duncan was born. Later Avon Hampton was born to this union. Elgin Hampton departed in death in 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Ola Mae Duncan; five siblings, Linda Sue, Curtisere, Geraldine, Ollie, AC Duncan; one great niece, Burgany Duncan.
She is survived by her children, Elgin Duncan (Brandy), Avon Daniels (LaRon) all of Warren, AR; two sisters, Freddie Mae Jacobs (Jessie), Brenda Duncan; six grandchildren, Da’Shavona Hampton,
Aaliyah Jones, Travon Duncan, Porsha Patton, DaShawn Davis, Bralin Daniels; two great grandchildren, Chase O’Shea Duncan, Skylar Patton Duncan; special aunt, Junell Logwood of Chicago, IL; special friend, Melanie Davis; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held August 15 at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Warren, AR. with Rev. Henry Cox officiating. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
