Perry Lee Green, 74, of Warren, passed away August 12, 2026. Born November 4, 1951, to the late Eloise Dye and Virgil Green. He was a proud graduate of Hermitage High School in 1969. He later moved to St. Louis, MO in 1970 to pursue his career.
Perry accepted Christ at an early age and lived a life that was marked by humility, love, and faith. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and cherished his beloved fur baby “Queenie”.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Green; brothers, Joseph Franklin, Sam Dye Jr., Earl Dye, Raymond Dye, Charles Dye and Jesse Green.
Perry is survived by his wife, Mildred Ann Green of 20 years, and his blended family; two daughters, Tequila Gray (Diondra) of St. Louis, MO., FaSeeia Preston (Jeff) of Pine Bluff, AR; three sons, Troy Perkins (Karla), Terry Green (Maya) both of St. Louis, MO, Kevvan Anderson of St. Paul, MN; nineteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four brothers, Cardell
Williams (Ruthie), William Franklin (D’Juana) both of St. Louis, MO, Ernest James Green (Sandra) of Johnsville, AR, Jimmy Green (Ethel) of Warren, AR; five sisters, Towanna Garrett (William) of Phoenix, AZ, Erica Johnson (Alonzo) of Wentzille, MO, Daisey Green of Las Vegas, NV, Jenny Mae Dye of Indiana, Julia Dye of St. Louis, MO; aunt, Cora of Chicago, IL; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held August 22 at Hampton Chapel AME Church in Johnsville, AR with Rev. James Carroll officiating. Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery in Warren, AR. Arrangements dby Hammons Funeral Home.
