Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Announces Labor Day DWI Enforcement Campaign

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office is reminding motorists to make safe choices behind the wheel as it participates in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Labor Day DWI Enforcement Campaign.

The campaign is underway ahead of the Labor Day holiday and will continue through September 7, with an emphasis on preventing impaired driving and encouraging motorists to plan for a safe ride home.

Officials are urging anyone who plans to consume alcohol to make transportation arrangements before heading out. The campaign’s message encourages drivers to “Drive sober. Arrive alive,” and reminds the public not to drink and drive.

The Sheriff’s Office also emphasized that drunk driving is against the law and that the consequences of impaired driving can extend far beyond a traffic stop or arrest.

“One decision can change everything,” the campaign states.

Motorists are encouraged to use a designated sober driver or make other arrangements if they have been drinking.
