MONTICELLO, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello Volleyball team is set to host the Lions of Arkansas-Fort Smith on Tuesday for the 2026 Home Opener.
The Blossoms are coming off a five-set thriller in the Mulerider Invitational to win their final game of the tournament over LeMoyne-Owen. UAM leaves the weekend with a 1-2 record on the year.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Arkansas-Fort Smith – Heading into the home opener, the Blossoms trail the Lions 1-7 in the all-time series. UAM first played them in 2009, losing 3-0, and last faced off with UAFS in 2025 in Fort Smith, where they lost 3-0. the lone win over the Lions came in 2021 when the Blossoms took a 3-2 victory in Pine Bluff during a tri-match hosted by Arkansas-Pine Bluff
WHERE TO WATCH
The 2026 season will introduce the GAC Sports Network, a new home for all UAM athletic event broadcasts.
Launching for the 2026-27 athletic season, the network will provide fans with comprehensive live and on-demand broadcast coverage from seven participating member institutions and selected GAC post-season championship events.
Participating institutions for the upcoming academic year include Arkansas Tech University, University of Arkansas–Monticello, East Central University, Oklahoma Baptist University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Southern Arkansas University, and Southern Nazarene University. By implementing this collective subscription model, the GAC joins 14 other NCAA Division II conferences that use similar networks to improve broadcast quality and support campus operations.
