WARREN, Ark. — A community safety outreach event aimed at area senior citizens will be held Friday, Sept. 25, at the Bradley County Services Building in Warren.
The S.O.S. Safety Outreach for Seniors event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bradley County Services Building, located at 302 Smith Road.
The event will feature information and resources focused on issues affecting older adults, including medication safety, fraud prevention and access to local assistance. Local service providers are also expected to be on hand.
Organizers say the event will include door prizes, freebies, food and fellowship in addition to the educational sessions and community resources.
AmeriCorps Seniors, Mainline Health Systems and the Senior Medicare Patrol are among the organizations participating in the outreach.
Meals for the event are being provided by Commercial Bank and Hospice Home Care.
