HERMITAGE, Ark. – The Hermitage School Board met for its March meeting Monday, March 14, 2022. Normal reports and business were acted upon . Superintendent Dr. Tucker reported on the status of the American Rescue Plan funds and other ongoing projects and programs. The board then approved the 2022-2023 school calendar, the grade 9-12 science curriculum and the salary schedule. A vote was approved
to buy a new Hustler Lawn Mower and a Gator-type UTV.
After holding an executive session, the board accepted the resignations of Brandi Gage and Dalila Pedroza. Approval was granted to allow the transfer of Laynie Rogers from elementary to High school.
The board then approved the hiring of Hayley Billings and Ashley Martinez. Next the board voted to hire 21st Century employees Ron Hoskins, Alicia Avery and Kasey Johnston.
