Bobbie Marie Patton, 81, of Warren, passed away October 22, 2023. Born September 1, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Allie and Mary Charles.
She was a graduate of Well’s Bayou High School in Gould, Ar. Shortly after, she met and fell in love with George W. Patton, to this union four children were born.
Bobbie was employed with Potlatch in 1968, she worked there until she was laid off in 1974. Afterwards, she decided to enroll in Cosmetology school. Her loving spirit and exceptional skills caused her to become a well-known beautician.
Bobbie professed a love and hope in Christ at an early age in 1971. She faithfully served the Lord and was a long-time member of West Central Church of Christ in Warren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George ‘GW’ Patton; siblings, Allie Charles Jr., Ricky Charles, James Charles, Leroy Charles, Emma Martin, Iciphine Jones, Gloria Charles; daughter, Debra Ann Charles; granddaughter, Asya Patton and great-granddaughter, Corey Weatherspoon.
Bobbie is survived by her children, Janice Matthews (Johnny), Felecia Brown, George L. Patton, Amber Patton; special children, Krishana Penister, Justin Jones; stepsons, George W. Patton (Tahrae), Vincent Patton, Jarrod Patton (Satonya); siblings, Raymond Charles, Sarah Marshall, Alean Jones (Bobby), Betty Charles, Linda Mathis (Carcell); grandchildren, Sasha Matthews, Seneca Matthews (Lakeisha), Lamont Brown, Adrien Knight, Burgundy Stallings, Lamark Patton, J’Lisa Patton, Casmin Patton, Colton Steen; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was November 1 at West Central Church of Christ in Warren with Bro. Jamie Rochell officiating. Burial was in Childs Cemetery, Banks. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
