MONTICELLO, Ark. – Get ready to strut your stuff and belt out your favorite tunes—without even singing a note! The Monticello Rotary Club is thrilled to announce the first annual Lip Sync Battle for Options, happening on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center at 317 S Main St. in Monticello, Arkansas.
This fun-filled event will raise funds for Options, Inc., a local domestic violence shelter, and promises a night of unforgettable performances. Whether you form a band, get your friends together, or go solo, teams are encouraged to dress the part, dance, and lip-sync their way to victory in a competition that’s all about having fun and giving back.
Team entry is $250, which includes up to a 6-minute performance—so no vocal skills are required! Just bring your enthusiasm and creativity. Spots are limited, so teams are encouraged to sign up quickly using the QR code provided on the event flyer.
For those wanting to watch the spectacle, individual tickets are only $10 and can be purchased at Union Bank & Trust (on the square), the Advance Monticellonian, or directly from Options. There will also be delicious snacks, including hot dogs, popcorn, and soda, available for purchase, as well as a silent bake sale and auction happening on-site.
