City of Warren Prepares for Winter Weather Response

WARREN, Ark. — City of Warren officials say employees will be on call throughout the weekend as winter weather moves into the area.

In a public notice, Mayor R. Gregg Reep said city crews are prepared to respond to any problems caused by snow, sleet or icy conditions. The Warren Police Department and Warren Fire Department will be fully staffed and actively working during the weather event.

If streets become slick, city officials said crews will respond as soon as conditions allow after snow or sleet stops, applying salt and sand to improve road safety.

Residents are asked to report any street blockages by contacting the Warren Police Department at 870-226-3703.
