Randall “James” Lewis, age 42, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on March 6, 2026. James lived a life that touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. Though he faced profound physical challenges from birth, those who loved him understood that his life carried a quiet and powerful purpose. Through James, family, friends, and caregivers learned lessons of patience, compassion, humility, and unconditional love. James was born on October 14, 1983, to Randall and Paula Lewis, who devoted their lives to caring for and loving him. For many years, his parents lovingly cared for James at home. His mother remained his constant advocate and protector throughout his life. In recent years, James resided at The Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he became affectionately known as “Little Man.” The staff there cared for him with kindness and devotion, and their compassion brought comfort and joy to his daily life.
James loved music and often listened to Country, Christian, and Gospel songs. A small green frog rattle, lovingly called “Froggy”, also 42 years old was James’s constant companion. Froggy brought James comfort throughout his life. James is survived by his loving parents, Paula and Randall Lewis; his sister, Haley Lewis; his half-brother, Shelby Edward Lewis; his niece, Juli Anna Mary Pascual, who lovingly called him
“Uncle Bubba”; his grandparents, Eddie and Louise Lewis; aunts, Sherry Lewis and Jennie James; his uncle, Ricky Lewis; cousins Mackenzie Barrett, who was born only a few short hours apart from James, Richard Lewis, and Charla Ayala. He is also survived by many extended friends & family members, including Santiago “James” Pascual, who cherished him deeply. James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Luther and Mary Ellen James, and by his Aunt Melissa Lewis, his father’s baby sister. The family finds comfort in believing that James was joyfully welcomed into Heaven by these loved ones.
A visitation is being held at Frazer Funeral Home in Warren on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 3:30 p.m., preceding the funeral service.
A funeral service celebrating James’s life will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Frazer Funeral Home, with burial at Oakland Cemetery, beside his family and at the foot of his Grandpa Luther. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Southside Baptist Church in Warren, AR in memory of James.
The family asks that those who remember James do so with joy, knowing that he is now whole, free, and at peace.
