The Rotary Club of Warren met Tuesday, May 12 inside the Fellowship Hall at First Methodist Church at noon for its first meeting of May. The group heard from Warren High School Junior Rotarians Kylon Cross and Anna Arroyo to start things off.
Rotarian Marnette George introduced her program of Bradley County Medical Center’s Marketing Director Tiffany White. She spoke about the hospital’s upcoming 75th Anniversary Celebration. The event is scheduled for Thursday, June 11 at 10 a.m., and will be inside the hospital. Local leaders, physicians, and family members of former doctors and administrators are among the people who have been invited to attend. Representatives from local businesses and other healthcare entities are expected to be in attendance as well. The general public is also invited to attend. White noted that the date of June 11 marks the exact 75th Anniversary of the hospital’s opening on June 11, 1951. In addition to the speakers, there will be hospital tours, an unveiling of a memorial wall, and refreshments for those in attendance. The Rotary Club of Warren’s next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26.
