Lady Jacks erupt for six-run seventh to defeat Beebe 10-5

BEEBE, Ark. — The Warren Varsity Lady Jacks broke open a tight game with a six-run seventh inning to secure a 10-5 win over the Beebe Lady Badgers on Thursday.

Warren finished with 10 runs on five hits, taking advantage of Beebe miscues late to pull away. The Lady Badgers out-hit Warren 9-5, but defensive struggles proved costly as Beebe committed nine errors in the game.

The Lady Jacks got key contributions throughout the lineup. Bayleigh Miller led the way with a home run and two RBIs, while Raeleigh Milton also homered and drove in a run. Charlee Wardlaw added two RBIs, and Natalie Hargrave contributed an RBI as well.

Warren struck early with a pair of home runs in the third inning to build momentum, then stayed within striking distance as Beebe battled back to tie the game midway through.

The decisive moment came in the top of the seventh, when Warren erupted for six runs to turn a close contest into a comfortable lead. Wardlaw delivered the biggest hit of the inning, driving in two runs.

Brooklyne McVay earned the win in the circle for Warren, pitching a complete game. She allowed nine hits and five runs (two earned) over seven innings, walking one and striking out none while working efficiently through Beebe’s lineup.

Defensively, Warren was steady, committing just two errors compared to Beebe’s nine.

For Beebe, Alexis Lucas led the offense with two hits and two RBIs, including a home run. Rylie King added an RBI, and Jill Pelton also drove in a run.

With the win, the Lady Jacks capitalized on timely hitting and strong pitching to overcome being outhit, using a late surge to secure the 10-5 victory.
