The City of Hermitage is encouraging residents to sign up for its text messaging service to receive important city announcements and report local issues.
Through the TextMyGov service, residents can receive alerts concerning water problems, trash pickup schedules, burn bans and other city information.
To subscribe to city alerts, residents should text “HERMITAGE” to 91896. Message and data rates may apply, and users may text “STOP” at any time to unsubscribe.
Residents can also text “Hi” to 870-466-4447 to find city information or report an issue. No mobile application is required to use the service.
Anyone who needs assistance signing up or believes they are already registered but did not receive a recent alert may contact Hermitage City Hall at 463-2209.
