Christine F. Norton

Christine F. Norton, age 90, of Little Rock, AR formerly of Warren, AR passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026 in Little Rock, surrounded by her children. She was born in Warren on September 24, 1935 to the late Leslie Forrester and Lettie Wolfe Forrester Joyner and raised by her step-father, the late Louis Joyner. Chris was married in 1952 for 57 years to the late Loyd M. Norton who passed away in 2009. She graduated from Warren High School in 1953.

Christ was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Warren, where she actively participated in the Friendship Sunday School Class and the Day Women’s Missionary Auxiliary (WMA), as well as the Joy WMA. She served as president of both WMA’s. Chirs was also a member of Bradley County Extension Homemakers Council, where she served on several committees. She retired from First State Bank in 1997 after 20 years a teller and loan officer.

Chris and her late husband moved to Little Rock in 2007. She then joined Immanuel Baptist Church and the Wisdom Sunday School Class.

Her favorite activities included archery where she became the State Women’s Indoor Champion in the early 1970’s. Chris also enjoyed deer hunting, watercolor painting, reading, scrapbooking, and adult coloring.

Survivors include her daughters Chrystal (Brandt) Corcoran of Oceanside, CA, Candy Norton of Little Rock, Camille Norton of Maumelle, and son Kelly Norton of Evanston, IL; grandsons Evan (Brynn) Corcoran of Washington, D.C., Sean (Tiffany) Corcoran of Chicago, IL; sister Jean (Virgil) Wade of Lubbock, TX; sister-in-law, Pat Norton of Calmer; several nieces and nephews, and her two precious cats, JoJo and Lil Boy.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Bro. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Frazer’s Funeral Home.
