Ruby Mae Bowlin Brown, age 85, of Warren, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 14, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, friendship, and cherished memories. She was born on May 21, 1941 in Rison, Arkansas.
Ruby was a devoted Christian whose faith was the foundation of her life. She loved her Lord, her church family, and the many friends who became like family throughout the years. Her kindness, caring heart, and genuine friendship touched the lives of all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Above all, Ruby treasured her family. She was a loving mother whose children were a source of great joy and pride. She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Tom, and together they made countless memories that will be treasured forever.
Ruby and Tom enjoyed camping with friends and family through the years. Those days spent around the campfire, sharing laughter, stories, and the simple joys of being together, were among the special moments that made life so meaningful. In her younger days, Ruby also enjoyed motorcycle trips with Tom, creating adventures and memories that would last a lifetime. She loved taking trips with the church ladies, enjoying fellowship, laughter, and the wonderful friendships she made along the way.
Ruby will be remembered as a woman of strong faith, a loving wife and mother, a good friend, and someone who brought warmth and love into the lives of others. Her presence was a blessing, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Tom, three children: Brent Brown (Kristi) of Crossett, AR; Connie Brown of Crossett, AR; and Stacy Brown Howell (Dane) of Pride, LA; grandson Ben Brown (Chelsee) of Crossett, AR. She also leaves behind extended family, dear friends, and a loving church family who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Eula Bowlin; her brother, Don Bowlin; her sisters, Poli Crawford and Rita Stevenson.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that her faith is now sight and that she is resting in the loving arms of her Savior. The memories she made, the love she gave, and the example she lived will remain forever.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Burial will be Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2026 at Frazer’s Funeral Home.
