Lady Jacks Finish Season with Strong Effort, Bright Future Ahead

MONTICELLO, Ark. – The Warren Lady Jacks saw their 2025 basketball season come to an end Thursday night, falling to DeQueen in the opening round of the 4A South Regional Tournament at Monticello’s Billie Arena. Despite a determined effort, Warren lost by a final score of 66-47 to a highly talented DeQueen squad featuring two Arkansas Tech commits.

Warren got off to a competitive start, led by Bayleigh Miller, who poured in 11 of the Lady Jacks’ 13 first-quarter points. However, DeQueen’s firepower gave them a 24-13 lead after one.

In the second quarter, Natalie Hargrave, Breize Fellows, and Charlee Wardlaw contributed to Warren’s scoring, but DeQueen widened the gap, taking a 50-19 advantage into halftime.

Warren’s Livi McKinney posted 4 points and 11 rebounds in a hard-fought effort Thursday vs. DeQueen.

Freshman Khourtni Johnson provided a spark in the third quarter, scoring six points as the Lady Jacks continued to battle. Fellows connected from beyond the arc in the fourth, and Miller added seven more points in the final period, but Warren ultimately fell short, 66-47.

With the loss, Warren misses out on a 4A State Playoff berth, finishing the season with a 9-19 overall record. The Lady Jacks went 5-5 in conference play, securing third place in the standings. While this marks the end of the 2025 campaign, Warren’s young roster shows promise for the future.
