BCMC CEO/CFO Leslie Huitt and Director of Human Resources Brooke Hatch recently attended the Rural Hospital Strategy Summit in Bethesda, Maryland as a part of the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development Program. Bradley County Medical Center recently completed the three-year initiative and received a Certificate of Completion at the summit. This summit was an opportunity to learn about upcoming changes in federal regulations as well as hear from the experts on how to successfully navigate healthcare in Rural America. Huitt was a speaker on multiple panels during the event. The DRCHSD is a 3-year program that provides rural hospitals with resources and funding opportunities to help sustain hospitals in underserved areas.
