David Allen Broughton, 61, of Banks, passed away August 29, 2026. Born March 30, 1965, to the late Mary Eliza Broughton. He accepted Christ at an early age at New Bethel Primitive
Baptist Church in Banks, AR. He attended Hermitage High School in Hermitage, AR.
He was employed with the Bradley County Road Department, where he faithfully worked until he retired. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Eliza Broughton; grandmother, Myrtle Broughton; and grandfather, Billy Broughton.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Broughton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service was held September 12 at Childs Cemetery in Banks, AR with Bishop Larry Hines officiating. Burial was in Childs Cemetery, Banks. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
